Over the last several years we have been diligently moving all our services to cloud-based applications to make it easier for you to access your data and have real time financial information. This has never been more important than now. With stay at home orders still in place in several locations and businesses being forced to have their employees work from home we all need solutions that can be accessed from any where we happen to be.
Several years ago I switched my clients over to the Xero accounting platform to give everyone more flexibly. At the time I was looking for a way to allow me and my clients to work together even more easily if we were located several 100 miles apart. Now when I am asked why Xero my first response is that it is easier to learn and allows access from anywhere you have an internet connection. However, it goes much deeper than that. I love Xero because the people that work there are so much fun to work with and they care about each business not just how they will make money. One example of that is their pricing structure. They had already announced that they would be raising prices in July of 2020 (a $2 per month increase) when the pandemic hit – not only was the increase postponed but they also gave discounts to almost everyone.
