Cynthia L. Finkenbinder, CPA

Founder and President
Cynthia L. Finkenbinder, known to clients as Cyndi, leads Alpha Omega Accounting, LLC with more than twenty-eight years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and small business advisory services. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Psychology, along with an associate degree in Business Administration. Cyndi became a licensed CPA in 2004, a milestone that expanded the services she could offer and helped shape the firm into what it is today.
Cyndi’s approach is rooted in clarity and education. She believes clients make better decisions when they understand their numbers and the reasoning behind every recommendation. As a Xero Local Ambassador, she brings deep expertise in cloud-based accounting tools and helps clients adopt systems that simplify their operations and give them real time insight into their financial health.
Her work spans multi state tax preparation, business advisory services, cryptocurrency accounting, and support for entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries. Clients appreciate her steady guidance, her ability to explain complex topics in plain language, and her commitment to lighting the way to financial understanding.

Scott Knock

Co Owner, Vice President, Tax Professional, Notary Public
Scott Knock brings leadership, structure, and a strong systems mindset to Alpha Omega Accounting, LLC. As a veteran of the Army National Guard, he developed the discipline, organization, and process driven thinking that now supports the firm’s internal operations and client workflows. His work focuses on tax preparation, client onboarding, technology improvements, and the development of efficient procedures that keep the office running smoothly.
Scott is certified in Xero and is currently working toward obtaining his Enrolled Agent license. He is also a Colorado Notary Public. Clients appreciate his calm, practical approach and his ability to break down complex processes into clear, manageable steps.
His background in leadership and logistics helps the firm maintain the organized, technology forward systems that clients rely on for accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.

Cheryl Jacobs
Bookkeeping and Payroll Specialist
Cheryl Jacobs brings precision, consistency, and a strong command of cloud-based accounting tools to the team. Born in the United States and raised in South Africa, Cheryl later returned to Colorado for college, where she built the foundation for her career in accounting and payroll services. Her international background gives her a unique perspective and a natural adaptability that clients appreciate.
Cheryl is certified in both Xero and Gusto, and she supports clients by keeping their books accurate, their payroll compliant, and their financial information organized. She manages account reconciliations, updates financial data, processes payroll, handles payroll tax filings, and maintains employee information with care and accuracy. Her work helps clients stay compliant, avoid surprises, and maintain confidence in their financial systems.

Kristina Knock

Client Engagement Coordinator
Kristina supports the Alpha Omega Accounting team by assisting with client follow-ups, gathering missing information, and helping with new client signups whenever additional support is needed. She also contributes at community events and trade shows, where her hospitality expertise and friendly, welcoming presence helps clients feel comfortable and connected.
As a valuable member of the team, Kristina cheerfully steps in wherever she can to make client experiences smoother and more positive. She is conversational in Spanish, which allows her to assist Spanish speaking clients when it’s helpful.

At Alpha Omega Accounting, LLC, we believe every good office needs a little joy, a little chaos, and a few furry coworkers who remind us to take breaks and enjoy the moment. Between our households, we share a lively collection of pets who keep us laughing and make long workdays a little brighter.
Together, our families include five dogs, five cats, and two axolotls. While they are not official employees, they take their roles very seriously and usually win the “coveted” Employee of the Month award, time and time again. They supervise Zoom calls, demand attention during tax season, and occasionally contribute to productivity by insisting on trips to the dog park or lap time.
