Today, here in America, we are celebrating Labor Day. Originally this was a celebration held in Canada but was adopted by the labor unions in America. The idea was to hold a big parade followed by a festival for the factory workers. It has evolved into a day of shopping and end of summer activities. It is the second biggest shopping day of the year, coming in right behind Black Friday.

I have found that Labor Day is the perfect days to set aside to work on your business, instead of in it. You know – all those tasks that get set aside because of not enough time. Some examples could be things like working on your business plan, or your marketing plan. But don’t get so caught up in your business that you forget to celebrate with your family and employees.

Even if you don’t choose to work in your business on Labor Day, pick a day this week to do it and get your planning done for the next six months to a year. If you need help or would like to schedule one of our new VIP Days where we will help you work on your business, give us a call and we will set it up for you.
