We finally get to the last few tasks that need to be completed before December 31st. How are you doing, if you need help ask for it now? It will be much harder and more expensive during the first part of the New Year when everyone else is playing catch up on what you have already accomplished.

  1. Make sure you have all of the current names, addresses and other information for your employees and independent contractors. This will make January less stressful because all that information will already be gathered and you won’t be chasing it down at the last minute to get those W-2’s and 1099’s out.
  2. Don’t forget to write down your end of the year mileage (this is also the beginning mileage for next year and is very important)
  3. Spend time with your family and friends. We often get so wrapped up in our business that we forget the people around us that make it possible. Take time off for yourself and your family.
